About Us

David Gaura, a.k.a. Fox, creates Spoonbug sculptures using stainless steel utensils, which are heated, shaped and welded into the shape of unique animals and other forms using his imagination. 

David Gaura is a self-taught artist, with over 35 years experience , whose primary medium has been blacksmithing.

He is a member of the Racine Art Guild, and Artist Blacksmith Association of North America (A.B.A.N.A.)

David enjoys spending time with other artists, which encouraged his ventures into different mediums over the past few years. Other mediums include wood carving, blacksmithing, stained glass (foil method), pastel, colored pencil, watercolor and oil painting. All works are original.
